Q: Which routes will Mango fly during level 3 restricted business travel flying?
A: Permitted flights are between Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Q: Which travel is permitted under alert level 3 restricted flying?
A: Business, and essential travel including, funeral attendance, students going back to school, travel due to medical reasons.
Q: Are Essential travellers required to observe safety protocols?
A: Yes, Mango adheres to strict safety protocols and as such, all travellers are to do the same. In this regard, face covering are required to be worn at all times and travellers should pay special attention to all airport and airline announcements made.
Q: Which documents are required for travel in level 3?
A: Regulations state that permits will be required for travellers to prove that they are travelling for business or essential purposes. Permits from your employer authorizing your travel and/or a sworn affidavit which would need to be acquired from a magistrate’s office or a police station, will be required for travel.

These are to be completed and handed in for inspection to Airport Authorities upon entering any airport terminal. Please download and complete the forms including the permit to be presented on the day of your flight to minimise delays in processing entrance of passengers to the terminal.

Q: Who is responsible for obtaining valid travel permits for our Guest / can our Guest fly without a valid travel permit?
A: It is the Guest/passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary permission BEFORE they buy a ticket. Guest/passenger’s will unfortunately not be permitted to fly if they cannot produce the required document, regardless of whether they have a ticket or not.
Q: Will the Guest be compensated for missed flights during level 3 restrictions?

Q: How much time does a Guest require to be on-time for his/her flight under these level 3 restrictions?
A: Due to the extra regulatory and safety protocols required, we would advise our Guest to plan for extra time for their flight journeys. Please arrive at least two-and-half hours prior to your flight as a contingency for any unforeseen delays.
